Francis Chan is the founding pastor of Cornerstone Community Church (1994 to present). He travels throughout the world challenging youth to a higher commitment to Christ. He is currently active with Children’s Hunger Fund, African Renewal Ministries, and World Impact.

Joshua Walker was a Mechanical Engineer working in the aerospace industry for eight years from 1995-2003. During that time he served at Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rolling Hills, California in many leadership roles (deacon, elder, committee chairman, Bible instructor). With a passion to serve Christ more, he entered seminary in 2001 and began to pursue whatever ministry God intended for him. He is currently blessed to be serving as the President of Eternity Bible College.

Spencer MacCuish

Spencer MacCuish served on staff (summers) at Hume Lake Christian Camps from 1991-98. During that time (1995-99), he also worked in the public school system where he taught English / History and coached volleyball. While teaching, he also served in the College Ministry at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita. In 1999, he left teaching to lead the High School Ministry at the same church. He shepherded this ministry for three years before coming to Cornerstone. He is currently serving as Academic Dean at Eternity Bible College

Mark Beuving

Mark entered college with a desire to pursue comfort and success. During his time at Cal Poly, however, God changed Mark's plans and desires, and Mark became heavily involved in ministering to college students. After two years of studying Electrical Engineering, Mark began studying rhetoric, persuasion, and communication efficiency and finished college with a degree in Speech Communication. After serving as the College Director at First Baptist Church in San Luis Obispo for three years, Mark began seminary and became involved with Cornerstone Church and Eternity Bible College. Mark and his wife, Laura, are passionate about ministering the Word of God in the lives of college students.

Nathan Foreman

Since finishing Seminary, Nathan has spent the last two years studying Hebrew and the Bible in Jerusalem, Israel. His love for the land, history, cultures, and languages of the Bible world has grown in the years that he has spent abroad. His long-time desire has been to teach the Bible in a school where the students love and desire God’s Word. Outside of these academic pursuits, Nathan enjoys a wide range of outdoor mountain sports and spending time with his wife and children.

Nicole Carstensen

B.A., Christian Education, Biola University

Nicole Carstensen graduated college knowing that she wanted to be involved in full time ministry. She started that journey by working at Thousand Pines Christian Camp in Crestline, California as the Program Registrar. At Thousand Pines she met a Pastor from Cornerstone who asked her to consider applying to work at EBC. The rest is history and she began working at Eternity Bible College in the Spring of 2006. Since working at EBC she has developed a passion and love for serving the students at EBC and she can't picture herself doing anything else.

Yvonne Wilber

Yvonne and her husband Tom moved to Simi Valley in 1998 after spending ten years serving in a church in Chatsworth, California. While raising their three children Yvonne also worked in the graphic design industry and served in the Women's ministry at Cornerstone. With the understanding that her life as a mom of small children was a temporary calling, she followed the prompting of God and enrolled as a student at EBC to become better equipped for his service. Yvonne is blessed to be able to work at EBC and in addition to working at the resource center spends time hanging out and mentoring students. Lord willing, Yvonne will be pursuing her Master's in Library and Information Science in 2010.

Kristen Azbell

Kristen began taking her Christian faith seriously when she experienced the Joshua Wilderness Institue at Hume Lake from 2001-2002.  When she came back from working two summers at Hume Lake she served in Junior High ministry at Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Camarillo.  She began attending Cornerstone in Fall 2004 after being involved with Axis for three years.  Since 2004 she has been serving in 5th and 6th grade ministry.  Her heart is to serve children globally and is excited to see what opportunities God is presenting.
